FIT PREGNANCY NAMES FLORIDA HOSPITAL ORLANDO AS ONE OF THE TOP 10 BEST HOSPITALS IN AMERICA TO HAVE A BABY

November 22, 2002--Orlando, FL - FLORIDA HOSPITAL ORLANDO was named one of the top 10 hospitals in America in which to give birth by FIT PREGNANCY magazine in a "Special Report" in the December/January issue.

FIT PREGNANCY’s top picks were chosen carefully—each had to combine personal touches like liberal visitor policies with high-tech expertise, such as immediate access to a neonatal intensive-care unit. FIT PREGNANCY consulted a variety of medical associations, childbirth experts, doctors and real women during the more than 4-month selection process (for full selection criteria, consult the December/January issue). "It was a huge task," says Peg Moline, Editor in Chief, FIT PREGNANCY. "There are many excellent hospitals in the United States, so narrowing it down to 10 was difficult.
